Welcome to Seashore Psychotherapy. My name is Bolour Kalibar, and I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist based in Burlington. I work with individuals seeking insight-driven, long-term psychological change in a private, reflective, and professional setting. My approach focuses on revealing, understanding, and resolving underlying emotions and root causes of symptoms through evidence-based interventions and a comprehensive treatment plan. I offer both in-person and online consultations.
With a background in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I focus on helping clients explore unconscious patterns, relational dynamics, and deep-seated conflicts that shape their present experiences. My work is not about offering quick solutions, but rather providing a thoughtful, structured space where genuine self-understanding and transformation can emerge.

With over eight years of clinical experience, I offer a warm and collaborative approach that’s tailored to each person’s individual needs. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Developmental Psychology and a postgraduate diploma from the Canadian Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (CICAPP). My four-year specialized training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, along with additional psychodynamic training for work with adults, allows me to provide in-depth, insight-oriented therapy that supports self-understanding and lasting emotional change. I also draw on advanced training in Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Play Therapy, and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) to adapt the work to each client’s unique experiences and goals.
